I wanted to thank your parents for writing on my son's website. What wonderful people they are. I see you and my son are both 31, so I hope you two meet and share fond memories of the ones that love you on earth. There is no greater loss than of a child not matter what the age.

I know that it has a long time since I have visited this web sight but that doesnt mean that I do not think of you each and every passing day. I came over to your parents house today and shared your favorite meal with them. It is hard when I come back down to LCO because then it really hits that you are no longer here with us in this world and then the tears start flowing all over again. I miss you so much and I do feel bad that I do not spend more time with your parents and most esp. Erin. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY SWEET AUTUMN ROSE
It's 5:15 am and I'm sitting here thinking of you up in heaven, but wishing you were here. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and your brothers. Sometimes I can smile and sometimes I want to cry. Hopefully, when your memories come to me I'll be able to think of you with happiness but that may be a long time coming. I do remember how you used to call me on your birthday and say"Auntie, you're getting older". Just that little gesture would make my day. I also remember the first time I saw you. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful babygirl. So perfect-big brown eyes, rosy cheeks and rosy lips. Autumn Rose couldn't have been a more fitting name. That was the moment I felt like the proudest Aunt in the world.
Your mom is having a dinner tonight and she asked me and Uncle Jim to stop by. She's making your specialty-Mexican. I admire your mom and dad so much. I know it's a struggle for them everyday but somehow they manage. They do all they can to keep your memories alive and include family and friends to participate when a function comes up. For me, you'll always live on. Whenever I look at Erin I see you. I'm not sure if she's comfortable with the comparisons but she sounds like you. She's built like you, she's developing some traits of your personality. If I were Erin I would feel proud. But I'm not Erin, I'm your Aunt and I still feel priviledged by that association alone.

The Joy of Autumn
Autumn, you filled our lives with the richness of the season. Our precious child we loved you beyond measure or reason. Our hearts were filled with joy at the blessing that was you God's bountiful harvest given to our love so sweet and true. We miss you so badly that our hearts ache with such pain. When God's children go home we will see you once again. Like winter follows fall and then surely comes the spring, Summer will go by and we'll see the joy that Autumn brings
